About
Building the assistant a signature can trust
Alesis is made by L25 Limited, a UK software company building for law firms, where someone with a practising certificate signs the work and answers for it.
Between a more impressive answer and a more checkable one, the checkable one wins.
Our story
Impressive is easy. Checkable is the work.
An AI assistant writes fluently, answers instantly, and sounds exactly as confident when it is wrong. In most trades that is a curiosity. In a law firm it is a professional risk.
So Alesis is built backwards from the check. It answers from the matter's own papers and from official sources, counts dates with the working shown, and names the source behind every point, with official sources one click away.

The rules we build by
Four rules, held even when a release would be easier without them.
Every answer shows its source
A point you cannot check is a point you cannot use. Each one names the document, decision or provision it rests on, down to the page, and official sources open in one click.
It says when it does not know
When Alesis cannot find support for a point, it tells you what is missing instead of offering a confident guess. An assistant that fills gaps quietly is worse than none.
People send, Alesis prepares
It does not file, serve or email anything. Every draft waits for a qualified person to review it and sign it off, because the work remains the firm's.
Your work stays yours
Held in the UK, processed in the UK and the EU, kept apart from every other firm, and never used to train anything for anyone else.

Alesis runs on credit, not a subscription. The first firm you set up starts with £25 of free credit, no card needed; each colleague who joins adds £15 more, once per person, for up to 20 colleagues, and you top up only when you choose. The amounts are public, on the pricing page, and nothing recurs. See pricing.
